National Farmers Goes Digital

The Communications Department introduced a new way for members to receive the Dairy Update, National Farmers Magazine and other e-news products. “We are now distributing the National Farmers Magazine to our members electronically,” said Director of Communications Perry Garner. We also plan to distribute the monthly Dairy Update via email to more members,” he said.

In addition, members can receive periodic e-news updates about ag issues important to producing their commodities. Garner urges members to send their current email addresses to National Farmers to, so they can begin receiving the digital publications.
“We strive to continue using the latest communications technologies to make it easier for members to get their news and information,” Garner said.

There is also a daily enewsletter distributed by Nexus Marketing, offering daily cattle markets as well as the latest cattle-oriented headlines from a variety of sources. It is made possible through the news feeds from Meatfyi, a service of the Institute for Rural America.
“These digital publications are designed to show properly on your phone, tablet or computer at whatever screen size you have,” Garner said.

At this point, we only have about 800 email addresses from members across all production commodities, and we have several thousands of members, so we urge farmers who have not been receiving these digital editions to send their email addresses right away to
