Convene ’21 Goes Virtual
For the first time in its history, a National Farmers in-person convention has been cancelled, and replaced with a virtual meeting. “The uncertainties of COVID-19 have impacted the world, and our national board members recognize they must put the health and safety of our members at the forefront. Therefore, they voted unanimously to conduct a virtual convention next February,” said National Farmers President Paul Olson.
The Communications and Marketing Department is working with administration leaders and division heads to explore convention scheduling, production and hosting platforms for the virtual event. The Resolutions Committee will meet prior to the virtual convention, on February 4, at 12 p.m. CST on Zoom.
Attending members will receive a link code once they register for our annual winter meeting before Feb. 4. Be sure to watch for more Convene ‘21details in the January/February magazine issue or on our Facebook page.
